These Terms govern your use of theostjohn.com (“the Site”), the official website of author Theo St. John. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1.About the Site

theostjohn.com is an informational website about the author Theo St. John and the novels, including My Father the Yakuza. It provides book information, a reader newsletter, and a free preview of the opening chapters.

All content on the Site — text, book excerpts and preview chapters, cover art, the author photograph, logos and design — is the property of Theo St. John or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You are welcome to view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or distribute any content, including the free preview chapters, without prior written permission. The free preview is provided for your personal reading only.

3.The newsletter and free preview

When you subscribe, you consent to receive emails as described in the Privacy Policy. The free preview chapters are offered at no cost for personal, non-commercial use; they remain copyrighted and may not be redistributed or resold. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; not to attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems; and not to use the Site in any way that infringes the rights of others.

The Site contains links to third-party websites and retailers, such as Amazon, Kobo, Goodreads and social media platforms. These links are provided for your convenience. I do not control, and am not responsible for, the content, products or practices of those sites.
